0.00 4 minutes This work was part of my M.S. thesis Perceptual correspondences of abstract animation and synthetic sound developed at the MIT Media Lab in 1988. It is primarily a 3D visualization of synthetic sounds based on four types of audiovisual correspondences: spatial coincidence, temporal coincidence , volume/brightness, timbre/shape-color. Once created, the abstract objects, and consequently the sounds associated with them, were used to compose the audiovisual work.
