Though their life may appear monotonous, it is rich with subtle complexities. Director Atanur Nabiyeva discovered this family upon returning to his village after many years. Their story evokes her own childhood memories, and through the depiction of the grandmother and granddaughter, she gives new life into those lost moments of his past.
