Ferenc Göndör's story takes place when he was of school age. As a Jew, he was not allowed to go to school in the same way as his peers. He had to practice pointless and hard work during some lessons. He was not allowed in to his hairdresser, to whom he had been going for many years: "Forbidden to dogs and Jews".
