Aki is struggling to continue her lifelong work as a dancer, actress and theatre director, while at the same time caring for her ageing father. As a series of international performances are cancelled, we witness doubts swirling on the surface and a steely resilience within. As life challenges collide with the trials of the creative process, this film is a sensitive contemplation on what we can control in our lives and what remains out of our hands. It's a film that explores creativity, authenticity and how to keep true to yourself as the years go by.
