Jean enters the stage as Pjerrot, whilst his wife and their daughter sit in the audience. The daughter slips behind the stage unnoticed, where suddenly a fire breaks out. Jean, dressed as a clown, must plunge into the flames in a heroic attempt to save both his marriage and the life of his estranged daughter. (Stumfilm.dk)
