7.00 81 minutes Letters from a distance documents a communication exercise thought out by healthcare workers from a public hospital in Mexico City to help with the distance between COVID-19 patients and their family members through letters, that eventually turn into video messages or photographs during the peak of the pandemic giving people hope and certainty. It is also a voyage through the lives of mexican families who faced the most painful pandemic, due to their social, economic and political contexts while being moved by hope and love.
