7.50 30 minutes im Cronin visits Turkey in search of Carli, the country's most famous primate, who appeared in the Jungle Book movie, and then his own TV series, in which he was trained to wear human clothes, kiss his leading ladies and deliver amusing antics right on cue. But his fame has led to an increase in the demand for pet monkeys, which in turn has meant an increase in the illegal trade of poaching and importing wild-caught chimps. Can Jim persuade Carli's owners to give up their money-spinning monkey for the safety of a new home in the UK?
